A Month of Sun, Venus and Nurturing

The Sun and Venus in Cancer this month symbolizes our natural desire to nurture and be nurtured. Take time to look at what you really need for nurturing. Are you getting what you need in this department or are you constantly “on duty” for others? By taking steps to ask for or do the things that nurture yourself this month you will be much more capable of unconditionally giving to others.

Mars in Leo opposite Neptune in Aquarius July 3-6 speaks of surrendering or aligning your will with spirit. As you surrender your sense of personal will, you surrender your sense of separation. With your personality out of the way, spirit has more room to co-create empowering and fulfilling results.

With the challenging semi-square between Jupiter in Scorpio and Pluto in Sagittarius from July 3-24, you are becoming aware of the need to balance emotion (Scorpio) with wisdom (Sagittarius).

Venus in Gemini opposition Pluto in Sagittarius July 13-15 helps you get in touch with and express your passion. Many people never discover what they are passionate about because a layer of anger veils their passion. Venus/Pluto helps you look deeper than the surface level of anger to discover your true passion.

As the Sun moves into the sign of Leo on July 22 at 6:18 p.m., it’s time to tap into your inner fire. The Leo principle relates to the expression of one’s creative energies. Our job in Leo is to tap into the creative spirit of the divine child within. Be the role model for others of someone who allows their creative energy to flow outwards into fruition.

Mars, representing where we assert our will, travels through the detail-oriented sign of Virgo from July 22-Sept. 8 focusing our will on taking care of daily routines.
