"Hungry For More: A Keeping-It-Real Guide for Black Women on Weight and Body Image” blends kitchen table wisdom with a poignant memoir of losing Robyn McGee’s sister to gastric bypass surgery. She explores the historical and cultural roots of obesity among black women, offering practical guidelines to losing weight and living a more healthy, balanced life. 5:30pm, free. Mon 6: Authors Leah Klinger MHA and Deborah Nedelman Ph.D.
The authors polled thousands of women on their thoughts about sex and sexual self-esteem over the age of 50 and present their observations in “Still Sexy After All These Years? The 9 Unspoken Truths About Women’s Desire After 50.” 7pm, free. Third Place Books (see below).

Fri 17: Author David Robert
"Sandstone Spine: Seeking the Anasazi on the First Traverse of the Comb Ridge” includes photographs by Greg Child of the landscape and Anasazi and Navajo ruins and rock art. Three middle-aged friends, climbers for years, set their sites on the mysteries of the vanished Anasazi Indians and their cliff dwellings. 6:30pm, free. Third Place Books (see below).
Mon 20: Author Margaret Ruby

"History in the Hands of a Rogue Network” debunks the government stance on 9/11 and its causes.
