Finding Balance Through Cooperation

April resonates with the vibration of the number 2 (2+0+0+5+4=11; 1+1=2). The themes for this month are reflection, cooperation and harmonization. The 2 month is a time for bringing your life into greater balance through working cooperatively with others. Learn to harmonize with life so it becomes a cooperative effort rather than just an individual one.

With Venus and Jupiter in opposition April 1-3, there’s an opportunity for opening your heart and manifesting unconditional love for self and others. Take a look at your current ability to give and receive love. Remember that you are acceptable and lovable just as you are.

Mars in Aquarius trine Jupiter in Libra April 6-9 allows our will (Mars) to flow with our idealism (Jupiter.) The challenge is to not force your crusade, no matter how holy, on others. Use the energy of Mars/Jupiter to align with greater will and you can be assured of success.

The new moon and partial solar eclipse in Aries April 8 asks us to speak out about what we need for emotional fulfillment. Moon in Aries calls you to bring full awareness to your needs so you can be present and authentic with others. If there are any projects you’ve been putting off, use the new moon energy to get motivated and into action.

Venus in Aries trine Pluto April 10-11 supports us in discovering our passion. What issues are you aware of that really engage you? What issues really "get your goat”? Answering these questions helps you tap into your core values. This will reveal what is important and what you are willing to take a stand for.

With Mars and Neptune at the same degree of Aquarius April 11-14, you are being asked to surrender your personal will to be guided by Spirit. Many of us learned that strong will and control make things happen in our lives. Using the energy of Mars/Neptune, you surrender your attachment to outcome. By surrendering, you tap into grace and flow with life rather than fighting it.

Communications flow more easily now that Mercury in Aries goes direct April 12. Speaking directly and precisely will make your communications more effective. You will be seen as an empowering influence with others as a result of your clarity.

Focus on loving your body and appreciating your sensuality as Venus moves through Taurus April 15-May 10. Give your body the gift of massage, a relaxing hot tub or a great hug session. Open your heart to loving and accepting your body. Learning to love our bodies is the fast road to high self-esteem.

As the sun shifts into Taurus April 19, we are asked to define and solidify our core values. By clarifying what it is that you truly value, you create guideposts that support you in daily life. Without knowledge of our core values we are like ships without rudders, adrift at sea.

Communicating what we need to feel bonded emotionally and physically is highlighted with the full moon and lunar eclipse in Scorpio April 24. The challenge this month is to acknowledge the need for bonding, even though you may feel vulnerable or fear that others might reject you if you look too needy.

With Mars in Aquarius in positive relationship with Saturn April 26-28, we can be very focused and disciplined. The shadow side of Mars/Saturn is revealed when we force things or attempt to control others. Letting go of control as a way of being is an important theme that we are being asked to look at now. Reviewing the hidden costs of control will prevent breakdowns from occurring in the future.

AQUARIUS (JAN. 21-FEB. 18)
