Tap into Beauty and Harmony

Find Your Inner Balance

By James Jarvis, M.A.

By adding the universal year 2004 (2+0+0+4=6), to the ninth month of September, we come up with the vibration of 15/6. The 6 month asks us to tune in to how we can be of service to others through expressing the healing power of love. The challenge this month is to learn how to tap into your love of beauty and harmony so that you can come into balance. Take some time this month to work on beautifying your environment. By doing so, you will feel more harmonious and balanced. Others will feel healed solely by being in your space.

Sept. 1-3 — OPEN YOUR HEART

Venus in Cancer will be in a positive relationship with Jupiter in Virgo. Venus and Jupiter are the most beneficial planets, and together they bring expansion, joy and abundance.

Sept. 6-Oct. 3 — EXPRESS YOUR INDIVUALITY

Venus will move through the sign of Leo. With Venus in Leo, we have an opportunity to reinvent our values so that they are rooted in our own unique experience. Having clarified our values, the natural inclination is to want to share them with others, to connect and link up with like-minded souls who support our individuality and creativity.

Sept. 10-28 — STREAMLINE YOUR LIFE

Mercury moves through the sign of Virgo. Use this period to focus on the details of your life that have been overlooked recently. Even though you may not be consciously aware of it, your energy is continually being drained by incomplete actions. For example, if you have borrowed a book from someone and you have been meaning to return it but haven’t, some of your attention and energy is being drained to track that incomplete action. Use this Mercury period to clean up any energy drains in your life so that you will be clear and have more energy to focus on your highest priorities.

Sept. 14 — NURTURE YOUR BODY/MIND

With the new moon in Virgo, our awareness is focused on taking care of ourselves on an emotional level. Use this month to find out what your body needs to support your emotional health. Maybe it needs more exercise, better nutrition or more attention paid to your diet.

Sept. 23 — BE A PEACEMAKER

The sun moves into Libra on the Sept. 22, the day of the autumnal equinox. The Libra principle is associated with balance, equanimity, justice and mediation. Our job in the sign of Libra is to be peacemakers and to promote a social consciousness that is just to all.

Sept. 23-25 — UNVEIL YOUR PASSION

Venus in Leo is in a positive aspect with Pluto in Sagittarius. This transit facilitates getting in touch with what we are passionate about. Many people never discover what they are passionate about because a layer of anger often veils their passion. Since anger is seen by many as an undesirable quality, the underlying passion is often thrown out as well. Venus in aspect to Pluto asks us to speak out about our convictions and heal any wounds we may have around expressing our truth or our passion.

Sept. 24 — JUPITER ENTERS LIBRA

Jupiter moves into the sign of Libra and will stay there until October 2005. Jupiter, the planet of expansion, in Libra brings a new commitment to the principles of justice, equality and partnership. The partnership model is based upon equality and the desire to create win-win situations. Jupiter in Libra is a symbol representing the expansion of peace. Just remember that the peace we seek in the world begins within ourselves.

Sept. 26-Dec. 1 — STRENGTH THROUGH BALANCE

With Mars in Libra, our energy and will is focused on creating greater balance in our lives. Although the sign of Libra is often depicted as somewhat wishy-washy, the truth is that Libran energy can be quite strong. Mars in Libra, in particular, is the champion and defender of justice and can be quite bold and outspoken when things become unjust.

Sept. 28 — PRACTICE AUTHENTICITY

The moon is full in Aries, asking us to speak out boldly about what we need for emotional fulfillment. The full moon in Aries is calling us to bring full awareness to our needs so that we then can be totally present and authentic with others. Only when we can nurture ourselves and honor our own needs for independence, autonomy and freedom can we truly be in relationship with others.
