By adding the universal year 2004, (2+0+0+4) = 6, to the 2nd month of February we come up with the vibration of 8. The 8-month represents an opportunity to achieve greater mastery in our lives. It’s a great month for taking a look at your goals and brainstorming new possibilities for accomplishing them.

Feb. 3 Formulate Your Values. Mars, the planet of personal will, moves through the sign of Taurus from Feb. 3 through March 21. With Mars in an earth sign it is a good time to formulate and implement your plans. Use Mars in Taurus to catch up with all the physical things (remodeling, repairing, beautifying, tonifying) that you need to get done. Your energy will be stronger at this time. Be careful not to be too “bullish.”

Feb. 6 Liberate Your Mind. Mercury moves through the sign of Aquarius from Feb. 6 to 25. With Mercury in Aquarius this month, the emphasis is on liberating (Uranus), the mind (Mercury). Be willing to act on any “illuminations” or intuitive insights that you might receive during this period.

Feb. 6 Nurture Your Child. This month, with the full moon in Leo, we are learning to nurture our inner child. This is a time to relax the inner critic, the overly responsible part of your personality so that you can tap into the pure, spontaneous innocence of the child. Use this month to tap into your sense of wonder and awe, the joy and aliveness that you receive by being totally present and in the moment. Let go of your seriousness and self-consciousness.

Feb. 8 Increase Your Aliveness. Venus passes through the sign of Aries from Feb. 8 through March 5. Take a look at how passion figures into your life during this transit. What do you get passionate about? What can you do now that increases your sense of aliveness? Try to be guided by your heart rather than your mind at this time. By tapping into what you are passionate you also tap into your dharma; that sense of mission or purpose that will give your life increased meaning and joy.

Feb. 12-15 Let Go of Control. Mars in Taurus is in a positive relationship with Saturn in Cancer Feb. 12 to 15. Mars/Saturn can help you concentrate your will so that you can be focused and disciplined. When Mars/Saturn are in aspect, you are also being asked to learn how to manifest strong will without attachment to the results. You are being challenged to let go of control (Saturn) of how you think things should turn out.

Feb. 19 Surrender Your Individuality. The Sun enters the sign of Pisces on Feb. 19. The Pisces principle involves surrendering the personal sense of "I" to allow for integration into the whole. Your job when planets are journeying through the sign of Pisces is to learn the value of surrender.

Feb. 19-21 Focus Your Mind. Mercury in Aquarius is in positive relationship with Pluto in Sagittarius from February 19-21. You can use this transit to create clarity and understanding of your deeper intentions. Mercury/Pluto helps to make our minds more incisive. You probably won’t be content with small talk at this time and we will want to cut to the chase in your communications with others.

Feb. 20 Turn the Soil. The New Moon in Pisces on Feb. 20 completes the Moon’s voyage around the zodiac. In the final stage of nature’s cycle, as many of you gardeners know, the soil is being broken up or composted to be made ready for spring planting. With the New Moon in Pisces you have an opportunity to go with “the flow”, immersing your self spiritually, and finding positive outlets for your compassion for others.

Feb. 22-26 Surrender Your Will. Mars in Taurus is in a challenging relationship with Neptune in Aquarius Feb. 22 to 26. The combination of Mars, representing personal will and drive, with transcendent Neptune is a particularly interesting combination. Mars/Neptune asks us to transcend or surrender our will so that we can be guided by spirit. At the same time we are learning that surrender is not a passive action but requires that we combine strong intent (Mars) with non-attachment (Neptune).

Feb. 25 Re-envision your Dreams. Mercury journeys through the sign of Pisces from Feb. 25 through March 12. With Mercury in Pisces it’s time to re-envision your dreams. One of the most powerful ways you can do this is to access the imaginal realm through journaling, drawing, meditation or daydreaming. It is through the imaginal realm that all new possibilities are created. By allowing your imagination to lead at this time you may access new ways of being that you’ve never “dreamed” of before.

Feb. 25-27 Energize Your Mission. Mars in Taurus is in flowing aspect to Jupiter in Virgo from Feb. 25 to 27. Mars/Jupiter asks us to tap into the archetype of the spiritual warrior; putting our will or power (Mars) behind our idealism or vision (Jupiter). The challenge is to not force your mission, no matter how holy, on others. Use the energy of Mars/Jupiter to map out your strategy and game plan. Align your will with divine will and you can be assured of success.

Feb. 26-27 Stimulate Your Mind. Mercury in Pisces is at the same degree as Uranus in Pisces Feb. 26 and 27. Mercury/Uranus transits stimulate the concrete mind with intuitive information that is being “downloaded” from higher mind. This is a great time for brainstorming new possibilities, as your mind will be much more receptive and open to this realm of perception.
